2021 International March of the Living Commemoration and Ceremony Yom HaShoah

In keeping with the Talmudic teaching “anyone who saves a life it is as if he saves an entire world,” the 2021 Virtual March of the Living and Holocaust Remembrance Day ceremony will be dedicated to the heroes who provided medical care in the ghettos and camps during World War II and to those professionals dedicated to the delivery of medicine today.

Among the Holocaust survivors participating are those who survived due to the selfless acts of medical professionals. Participants in the Virtual March from across the globe were filmed using innovative 3D technology so they appear to be marching along the traditional March of the Living route at Auschwitz – Birkenau.

As a tribute to the medical professionals who risked their lives at risk during the Holocaust, numerous medical associations around the globe, including the World Health Organization, as well as those on the forefront of the fight against COVID-19 will participate in this virtual program. Among those marching will be doctors, nurses and paramedics.

The 3D Digital March to mark 2021 Holocaust Remembrance Day will be live broadcast

on April, 8 2021 at 10:00 AM ET / 17:00 PM at www.motl.org

and will be followed immediately by an online memorial ceremony
