“March of Remembrance and Hope – Austria” is a non-profit organization that provides the program “MoRaH” to Austrian schoolchildren.
It is a program spanning several months that aims to educate the children in humanity, tolerance and civil courage by helping the schoolchildren to learn from history, remember the victims of the Shoah and become acquainted with Jewish culture and traditions.
The young people travel with their class and each group has a tour guide, a psychosocial supervisor, a tour bus leader and surviving eyewitnesses. Before the journey a two-day workshop will take place.
At the MoRaH closing ceremony the participants will present their projects and report back on what they have experienced and learned during the MoRaH project and journey of remembrance.
